Resolutions adopted by the Lyceum of Natural History New York, in relation to the Smithsonian Institution, 1855 Feb. 5.

The Lyceum expresses approbation at the administration of funds by the regents and secretary of the Smithsonian Institution, stating that funds spent printing and distibuting books would promote "the increase & diffusion of knowledge among men" better than accumulation of books in a new Smithsonian building in Washington.
